Touré Claiborne

Touré contributes in the areas of business administration, business development, marketing strategy and public relations matters for 3HD designs. The bounty of his career has been dedicated to marketing and management on the corporate and agency sides of the business. At the international sports management firm Octagon (formerly Advantage International), Touré held positions in corporate consulting, event management and athlete representation. More recently in his position at Sears Holdings, Touré developed strategic sports, entertainment and lifestyle programs on behalf of the company’s proprietary brands (e.g., Kenmore and Craftsman).

Touré’s expertise in developing marketing partnerships served him well when negotiating on behalf of Sears with NASCAR for its Craftsman Truck Series and the National Hot Rod Association. He is also credited with being an innovator of branded content programming such as ESPN’s The Scout series and ABC-TV’s Extreme Makeover Home Edition. In fact, Touré was also responsible for Sears’ relationship with company spokesperson Ty Pennington of Extreme Makeover Home Edition. By the end of his tenure at Sears, Touré held over $600 million dollars in financial responsibility.

Prior to joining Sears, Touré worked on the account team at advertising agency DDB Worldwide in its flagship Chicago office. At DDB, he created and managed sports, arts and culture sponsorships, as well as advertising portfolios for multiple national clients.

Touré serves on NASCAR’s Diversity Council and is Chairman of the Board for the Philadelphia-based Urban Youth Racing School. Additionally, he is a member of the Board of Visitors for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Most notably, this business leader was named to the Black Enterprise Magazine Hot List in 2005 as one of the extraordinary professionals under the age of 40 who have transformed American business using innovative practices. Today Touré is Director of Marketing Growth & Development at Allstate Insurance Company.

Touré holds a degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He lives in the Chicago suburbs with his wife, Dr. Saundra D. Claiborne, and their two children.
