With over 40 years of experience of strategic planning, marketing and business development in the engineering and construction field, Jim offers a broad and fresh perspective as advisor to 3HD•design.
Throughout Jim’s career, he has led development teams to vastly improve sales by differentiating their company with updated, focused and orchestrated collateral, presentations and negotiations. Jim created a time-proven business development tracking system that he consistently used to track hundreds of clients and prospects. Through this method, he was able to give the appropriate attention to all of his contacts, building an exemplarily reputation. His high level of professionalism and keen insight into the growing and changing marketplace has enabled him to win many top producer awards throughout the years.
Jim holds a BS in Architectural Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in Virginia, pursued Graduate Studies in Business Administration from Northwestern University in Illinois and is a Licensed General Contractor in North Carolina. He lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his wife, fiber artist, Martha Matthews. 3HD•design is honored to have Jim as our advisor.
